Team Fortress 2

Designing levels for games is what first got me interested in game development. Games like Fallout Tactics, Half-Life 2 and Super Meat Boy came with tools which allowed users to create their own levels. Using these tools gave me a greater apreciation for the work that went into making the games themselves. Below you can find some examples of the levels that I’ve created for Team Fortress 2.


Surf

Surf is a custom game mode in source engine games like Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. To learn more about this particular game mode you can read this description: https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Surfing

Creating a good surf level requires an in-depth knowledge of Hammer (Source engine’s level editor) and a great deal of understanding about surf mechanics. I have created three surf levels to date and each has been vastly different than the last.
